The Green Bay Packers are going to the Superbowl! I have been waiting for this moment since the last drive of the 1997 season when the Packers lost to the Broncos in San Diego at Superbowl 32. That was heart breaking. After many tries and many season ending interceptions from Brett Favre in the playoffs, my team is finally going to the big game! I am soo excited for this! The 2010 NFC championship game is two days old now and I still cant believe it. It probably wont hit me until I actually see them take the field on Feb 6.
The Packers beat the Bears to earn their fifth trip to the Superbowl. Aaron Rodgers was hot early, then cooled off in the second half. The defense finished the Bears off in front of their home crowd. Cutler was injured at some point in the second quarter and decided he shouldnt play. The Bears sent in Todd Collins who was completly ineffective. The third string was then brought in. Hanie. He sparked the Bears with some life and made it a game. The Bears actually had a chance to tie it in the final minute. But the Packers defense forced the inexperienced quarterback to throw a bad pass and an interception. Dom Capers did an amazing job against that Bears offense. Devin Hester was a non factor. Right now, The Packers are the best team in the NFC. Hands down. They beat the third seed Eagles in Philly, the first seed Falcons in Atlanta, and the second seed Bears in Chicago. They are firing on all cylinders and I expect them to give the Steelers all they can handle. This should be a great superbowl.
LETS GO PACK GO!
