Above is an interesting article.  It pretty much summarizes the Dan Snyder era as the Washington Redskins owner in a dictionary format.  How can you like this guy or support anything offered by this guy after reading that.  It makes me sick just reading about it.  The guy destroyed this once proud franchise.  I am glad I am not a Redskins fan any more through this era.  Believe me I was a die hard Redskins Fan growing up.  During his era, my support grew less and less every year, until now where it is zero.  I cannot support a team owned by this guy.  Now Danny boy is suing the city paper and calling for the firing of the person who wrote the article.  He is citing defamation.  I just dont see the defamation here.  All that is written is fact.  Is it that hes embarrased of what has transpired in his era?  Its just bullying in my opinion.  The guy trys to set the media up and control what we hear about the team by buying out the local media outlets and installing his own people. ESPN 980, Larry Micheal and the firing of Frank Herzog. 

This point in the article was probably the most moving:

"American Enterprise Institute: Conservative thinktank that summed up Snyder’s football operation as a “leading exemplar of this tendency toward irrationality” in a 2006 report. Kevin Hassett, director of economic policy studies at AEI, cited Snyder for running a “seriously mismanaged” operation. “I used the Redskins because they’re the most frightening example of a team that hadn’t thought through the simple economics of pro football,” Hassett said at the time. “The problems of running a pro football team are right out of the textbooks: With the salary cap, everybody’s got the same amount of money to spend, so let’s see what you’re going to do with your money. The big signing is counter to the economics of pro football. Over time, [Snyder is] spending the same amount of money as everybody else, but he’s spending it irrationally. I think they’re years away from correcting the mistakes they’ve made.”"
